Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Desi Allinger-Nelson is an entrepreneur as a designer, artist, and seamstress. She is a true classic - think Old Hollywood glamour meets 21st century fashion. A timeless silhouette updated for modern appeal. A bold but polished style that turns heads and speaks to uncommon sophistication. If Desi were a shoe, she would be a sleek, black, paten pump with a bright applied bow at the ankle.
Desi recently graduated from The Academy of Art University (May 2014) with a degree in Fashion Design. She debuted her first collection named "Tie Line", women's wear of halter tops, shorts, skirts, leggings, and dresses made from discarded men's ties at her first runway show for RAW Natural Born Artists on June 19.
